It’s the biggest night of the summer—a celebration of faith, freedom, and our local heroes!

6:00 PM – Patriotic Worship Service
We’re kicking things off with a powerful time of worship and gratitude. We’ll honor our military veterans and first responders in a special way—and every vet and first responder gets a free hat as a thank-you for your service.

Dinner Served During the Service
As we worship and celebrate, we’ll also be sharing a full barbecue meal together. Food and prize giveaways are only available for those who attend the worship service!

7:30–9:00 PM – Freedom Festival for Kids & Families
The fun continues with a full-on indoor carnival in the CYC (Country Youth Center)! Think games, inflatables, snacks, and family fun that’ll keep your kids smiling all night.

9:15 PM – The County’s Biggest Fireworks Show
We’re lighting up the sky with a firework finale you don’t want to miss. It’s going to be loud, proud, and full of hometown celebration.

DJ in the House All Night Long
That’s right—we’ll have a live DJ keeping the energy up with music and fun from start to finish.

Bring the family. Bring your neighbors. Bring a lawn chair and get ready to celebrate like only CITC can!

Honoring Our Country Heroes

One of the most meaningful parts of Freedom Sunday is our chance to recognize and honor our Country Heroes. Every military veteran and first responder in attendance—including law enforcement, firefighters, and EMS—will receive a free Country Heroes hat as a small token of our gratitude. It’s our way of saying thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and service to our country and community. If you know someone who serves or has served, please make a personal invitation and encourage them to attend so we can honor them in a special way. Click Here to Learn More

Donations Needed

To help make the night a success, we are collecting door prize donations. We’re looking for new, outdoorsy items such as fishing gear, coolers, lake or camping supplies, all valued at $20 or more. We kindly ask that no clothing items be donated. You can drop off all items at the Connect Desk on Sundays.

Freedom Fest Carnival Volunteers

Right after the service, the CYC will be filled with games, activities, and excitement for the kids at our Freedom Fest Carnival. It’s a high-energy, kid-focused event that runs all the way up to the fireworks show. We need volunteers to help run carnival booths. If you already have a game or idea you’d like to bring, let us know. If not, we’re happy to assign you something simple and fun. You can also let us know whether you’ll provide your own supplies or need the church to supply them. A sign-up form is embedded below. Sign Up to Help By Clicking Here!

Food Service and Setup Help

We’re also looking for volunteers to help serve food and assist with set-up and tear-down. This includes help with food prep, running drink stations, serving, and cleanup throughout the event. Set-up and tear-down help is needed both on Saturday and Sunday to make sure everything runs smoothly. Whether you can serve before, during, or after the event, your help will go a long way.

Spreading the Word

One of the easiest and most impactful ways you can help is by spreading the word. Invite your friends, neighbors, and coworkers to join us. Share the event on social media or pick up a few flyers at church. A simple invitation could be what brings someone through the doors—and that’s what this night is all about.

With your support, we believe Freedom Sunday will be one of the most powerful and memorable nights of the year.
