God has a heart for children, the vulnerable, and those who cannot stand for themselves. Through foster care, adoption, biological children, and the unexpected people God places in our lives, we are reminded that a person's circumstances never determine their worth—God does. Standing in the gap means more than simply believing the right things; it means being willing to act. It may look like fostering, adopting, mentoring, giving, praying, helping a struggling mother, protecting a child, or simply telling someone, “You matter.” We may not be able to fix every broken situation, but every believer can do something. Jesus welcomed children, showed grace to broken people, and called His followers to live out their faith with compassion and truth. The question is not whether we can solve every problem. The question is whether, when God asks, “Whom shall I send?”, we will be willing to answer, “Here I am. Send me.”
