Registration Could Close Early
The September 13 deadline is the planned final registration date, but some divisions may fill before then. Because we can only accommodate a certain number of players in our first year, families are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Game Days
Reserve All Seven Saturdays

The season includes six games. Families should reserve seven Saturdays so we have room for one weather makeup date.

How The Schedule Works
If we have no rainouts, the six-game season can finish on November 7. Please keep November 14 available in case weather forces us to postpone a game.
Games are played Saturday mornings.

Building A Sustainable League
Where Your Registration Fee Goes

This is our first season, and launching a quality soccer program requires a substantial investment. Registration fees are used to operate the league and continue building the program for future seasons.

Upward League Fees
A portion of each registration goes directly to Upward Sports for league participation, resources and program support.
Player Uniforms
Custom jerseys and soccer socks are included with player registration.
Equipment
Soccer goals, balls, field equipment, training equipment and other items needed to launch and operate the league.
Referees
Registration helps us provide referees and organized game-day officiating.
Field Maintenance
Preparing, marking and maintaining safe soccer fields throughout the season.
Awards
Season-ending awards and recognition for our players.
Game-Day Needs
Restrooms and other practical game-day expenses needed to provide a good experience for players and families.
Every Dollar Goes Back Into The Program
Soccer in the Country is being built for the long term. Our goal is not simply to get through year one. We want to continue improving the fields, equipment, game-day experience and overall league year after year.

Final divisions may be adjusted based on registration numbers so we can create balanced teams and healthy divisions.

Evaluations Are Not Tryouts

Every registered player is part of the league. Evaluations simply help us create balanced teams.

We will make every effort to provide equal playing time. Coach requests may be submitted, but cannot be guaranteed.

Siblings in the same division will be placed together.
What Is Upward?

Upward Sports combines organized youth athletics with positive coaching, character development and a Christian foundation.

Players learn soccer while also learning teamwork, encouragement, respect, integrity and Biblical truth through short, age-appropriate devotionals.

We do not want registration cost to keep a child from being able to participate.

A scholarship team will review requests based on financial need and available scholarship funds.

No. Soccer in the Country is open to children throughout our area.
