Kountry Kids is our fun, Bible-based ministry for children from Pre-K through 5th grade, co-led by Dwayne Freese and Jonathan Lancaster—a dynamic team combining experience, passion, and heart to help kids grow in their faith.
Dwayne Freese brings decades of ministry experience, including years as both a lead pastor and a full-time vocational children’s pastor. His steady leadership, deep biblical foundation, and heart for kids help make Kountry Kids a strong and grounded ministry.
Jonathan Lancaster brings fresh energy and passion to the team. He’s newly in ministry, but already has a powerful gift for connecting with kids. Jonathan is fun, relatable, and committed to helping children know and follow Jesus in a way they can understand.
Our Nursery Ministry is led by Meagan Myers, who oversees care for our littlest ones with excellence and love. Meagan ensures that our infants and toddlers experience a safe, nurturing environment each Sunday—so parents can worship with peace of mind.
Kountry Kids takes place during the 10:30 AM service every Sunday, giving parents the opportunity to engage in worship while their kids are engaged in meaningful, age-appropriate lessons, worship, games, and hands-on activities in the CYC (Country Youth Center).
We also offer dedicated Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 classes, as well as nursery care for infants and toddlers.
Throughout the year, Kountry Kids hosts special summer outings, a big Christmas production, and Wrangler Week—our high-energy version of Vacation Bible School that kids look forward to every year.
At Kountry Kids, children don’t just learn about Jesus—they build friendships, discover their purpose, and grow in a church that feels like home.
