Church in the Country is partnering with Riley Funeral Home to support families impacted by the devastating floods in the Texas Hill Country. This tragic event has taken lives, destroyed homes and businesses, and left many with urgent and ongoing needs. Together, we have an opportunity to respond with compassion and action.

We are collecting essential supplies to send directly to those affected. Requested items include cleaning supplies such as bleach, mops, brooms, spray bottles, antibacterial spray, trash bags, work gloves, rags, towels, safety glasses, Dawn dish soap, laundry detergent, and antibacterial soap. Personal hygiene items are also needed, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, hairbrushes, combs, ponytail holders, sunscreen, insect repellent, lip balm, and women’s hygiene products. In addition, there is a need for rural support items like chainsaws, extra chains, gas, oil, chicken feed, hay, bungee cords, and wagons.

Donations may be dropped off at the front doors of Church in the Country anytime before the deadline—Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Items may also be delivered to Riley Funeral Home during business hours at the front office. If dropping off after hours, items can be left under the back awning where they will be protected from the weather.

A truck and trailer are scheduled to leave early Wednesday morning, July 16, provided the trailer is full. If not, it will depart as soon as it is. Donations will continue to be accepted beyond that date for as long as the need persists, and we will keep delivering supplies to the Hill Country until relief is no longer needed.

Thank you for being part of this effort. Your generosity makes a real difference in the lives of those who are hurting.
